check for cheating in the star tournament, high scores are unbelievable
I’m at level 12,987 and win these tournaments often. I do the sub words and I am fast. There are times I do see score jumps that make no sense. It is not possible to score over 1000 points in the matter of minutes. Not possible so something is going on but I don’t know if it’s actual “cheating” or computer glitches. Maybe sometimes we are not seeing the points add up at times? I’m not sure. But I won’t call the people seeing this “whiners or sore losers” bc I get it.

I have not come across any cheating in the tournament’s. I really don’t see how one could cheat.
I play a LOT and one of the ways I am able to gain many, many words with large scores is by breaking down everything. Break down words forward and back. The words allowed in this game include Scrabble words, prefixes, suffixes and many more.
Just to help here is an example how I work;
Using the word APPEARING - here are some of the most obvious:
That’s how I rack up over an average of 85-90 words a puzzle.
Hope it helps!
Thanks for this fun puzzle!
Janpan - It is doable especially if your opponent was just about to complete a level when you last checked. No cheating going on.
I was winning 2789 to 2672 with less than three minutes left to play in the tournament and I lost by more than fifty points. How did that happen? There has to be a cheat some where. I feel I won not the one who cheated. It’s impossible to score so many points in such little time unless you cheat!!

Absolutely correct! Find the additional/extra words first! Those are bonus points that add to your score during tournaments especially, and with regular games, also.
Quickly learned that you need to find all additional words first. My highest score for a puzzle is 104, no cheating here. Put a few runs together with big numbers and there you go. Good luck.
So, rbi, when you win you’re not cheating but the people who beat you must be. Got it.
We’re just better at the game than you.
I’ve won multiple times and have never cheated once. I watch when I am playing current leaders one on one and I usually beat them easily. So don’t know what you do but I’m totally convinced there is cheating by certain people to make these huge scores or they have to be playing 24/7. And they aren’t!
I’ve won the tourney multiple times. No bots. After you’ve played a while you get good at maximizing the sub words in each word AND it is easy to wind up with even scores simply by leaving out some of the sub words. Example: the word ‘fires’ also produces fir, ire, ires, res, ser, and fire. Seven coins from a single word.
Stop whining and play smarter.
Thanks GOAT 👍🏻
Yes there are loads of three letter words that I have never heard of. In fact I make words up and a lot of the time the words are in the dictionary! So I remember them for future puzzles 😝
Jan - My method is pretty simple. After having played the game for some time now (10 months), the puzzles themes have become repetitive and that holds true for the hidden words themselves. The puzzle words are fairly easy to spot. (I am currently around level 9000)
I typically clear a puzzle in about 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 mins., depending on the complexity, and will usually score anywhere between 45 to 65 points. I try to find as many three and four letter words that are not part of the puzzle in between identifying actual puzzle words without wasting time. I usually don't go more that 3 to 4 seconds without scoring a point, and typically will score multiple points in a couple of seconds.
This method will allow one to register anywhere in between 1000 to 1500 pts per hour, if not more, depending on one's level of concentration.
I hope this helps with explaining in part some of the high scores.
Sorry, I meant how did you get high scores in tourney, not an hour.
I cannot prove cheating obvs. So I can achieve 100 to 130 coins per game and it takes maybe 10 to 15 mins per game.
Using 10 mins per game at 100 coins per game, 10 games would net me 1000 coins and would take 100 mins
So to reach 11000 it would take 110 games at 10 mins a game which equals 1100 mins which is 18 hours give or take.
So this is basically how I would achieve 11000 coins. If I’m wrong or you have a better way then show me.
What I’m saying is how can you get those high scores in an hour. How is that even possible? I’m not being funny or rude, I would really love to know.
Jan - You should be the one explaining yourself. You stated earlier that you were certain that bots or some other form of cheating was taking place. Please explain, show me the proof.
Jan - 11000+ points, I believe that you have just answered your own question.
Goat - it’s ‘their’ not ‘there’ just thought I’d mention it 😏
Hey Goat care to explain how you managed to do that. I played last weekend scored 11000+ but had to play for a few hours on and off. So what’s your plan then? I’d love to know.
All these whiners on here complaining about cheaters and bots want to make me puke. I have scored over 15000 points during a tournament on multiple occasions and did not have to play non-stop all weekend. The fact simply remains that there are superior players that are capable of maximizing there scores without having to resort to cheating.
DenPride I don’t understand how you can achieve high scores by watching videos. Surely that wastes time?? I don’t achieve high scores by doing that. Will you explain please?
All these comments about bots playing are completely ridiculous. As I had mentioned earlier it fairly easy to amass 1500 points per hour, if you were to play a couple hours per day, achieving 10000 points during a quarantined weekend is completely achievable. Stop all your whining.
